Your privacy is important to us and we take every possible measure to keep the personal data that you share with us private. Yinka Fabusuyi is the named data controller at Holmewood Osteopathic Practice and is registered with the information commissioner’s office (iCO).
We will ask for your contact details, date of birth and address during the consultation. At the current time this is held on hand written notes which are stored securely. They are only accessed by the osteopaths working at Holmewood Osteopathic Practice. We are required to do this by our governing body, The General Osteopathic Council (GOsC). This data will not be shared with a third party without your consent. Osteopathic Practice Standard D6 (3) says that we should keep patient records for a minimum of eight years after your last consultation; if the patient is a child, until their 25th birthday. After this period your notes will be disposed of securely.
Our online booking system is run through Setmore. You are required to enter your contact details and name in order to book an appointment online. Our access to the information you give on the site is password protected and information is stored on the cloud. If you would like more information please go to If you chose not to book your appointment using our online booking system it will not affect your care. Your data is not used by or viewed by third parties.
